Alto Aviation has launched a retrofit digital electronic control unit (DECU) upgrade solution specifically designed to update Legacy IFE systems, totally independent of CMS.
Alto Acapella Baker DECU replacement keypads re-use existing mounting provisions, negating the need for interior modifications. The new solution is 100% fit compatible with the existing Baker DECU panel.
Up to four sources can be supported at each location, with independent source selection and volume control. The new speaker DECU allows the former IFE system to be upgraded using two new keypad options: a four-button version with no auxiliary input and a four-button version with auxiliary input for an additional source. The buttons connect directly to an Alto Acapella series amplifier.
This solution offers an integrated audio/video control compatible with an industry monitor provider. Alto says it is ideal for single and multiple HD monitor upgrades. A cover bezel is available for the DECU replacement. This allows for new plating or accommodating a new flush-mounted panel.
